Come join us for the 9th annual GLAM Craft Show, now at First Magnitude Brewery! As always we’ll have a well-curated selection of artisan gifts created by nearly 80 makers from Gainesville and beyond.
Cilantro Tacos, Bubba Luigi’s, and Humble Fire will keep you fed, along with Sweetwater Organic Coffee, Wellspring Kombucha, Endless Summer Ice Cream, and Hyppo Pops. And of course First Magnitude’s tap room will be open (which now includes wine on tap, for you wine lovers).
Park on South Main Street, the Depot Park overflow lot, or the RTS lot southeast of the brewery. Here’s our handy parking map. Then once you park, catch a free pedicab to the show.
Admission is FREE. Show runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, Dec. 3 at First Magnitude, 1220 SE Veitch Street in Gainesville. See you there!

Greetings, GLAM friends! I wanted to announce that we’ll be moving the show to a new venue this year. The lovely folks at First Magnitude were kind enough to offer up their venue when our previous spot was up in the air. The major upside of this is that we’ll have plenty of beer on tap, as well as wine and seltzer (they just added those taps). As usual, we’ll also have food trucks on site.
Some of you no doubt have been to First Magnitude before. But if you haven’t, you can check out the website here.
Vendor spaces will be available both inside and outside. In the open warehouse space, we’ll have 8′ tables spaces available for vendors. Outdoors we will have 8′ table spaces available under the trees in the beer garden — these spaces will have a little more room to spread out than the indoor table spaces. Outdoors we’ll also have 10′ x 10′ booth spaces available in both the beer garden and the gravel parking lot.

Mark your calendars now for this year’s GLAM Craft Show on Sunday, Dec. 3. We are working to make this year’s show even better than ever. We plan to start accepting vendor applications in late summer. If you are interested in getting updates from us, please join our mailing list or follow us on Facebook.
Here at GLAM, we’re all about keeping in local. We started GLAM Craft Show in 2009 to provide a local holiday market for makers in our community. Eight years later, we remain true to these roots. More then 60 vendors in this year’s show hail from the greater Gainesville area. The others hail from Tallahassee, Jacksonville, and Orlando. One is even driving down from North Carolina, though he has family ties in St. Augustine, so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and count him as a Floridian too.
But we don’t do it alone. Starting last year, we were fortunate to partner with the Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency to bring GLAM back to downtown Gainesville. The CRA worked to open the doors for us to use the historic GRU Operations Warehouse in Gainesville’s emerging Power District. It was the perfect spot–it offered the perfect amount of open space and industrial charm, plus it was within walking and bike riding distance of several neighborhoods.
We love that our partnership with the Community Redevelopment Agency on this project is one small step toward strengthening the fabric of our local community and making Gainesville a better place to live. If you’d like to see more about what’s envisioned for the Power District, check out the CRA’s redevelopment plan here.
I hope to see all of you at GLAM next week. You can visit our Facebook event page for more details about the event, as well as sneak peeks from vendors.
This year we’ll have more than 70 artists, crafters, and makers at GLAM. You can sneak a peek now at what they’ll have for sale on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.
We are excited to announce that GLAM Craft Show 2016 is on for Sunday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! We finally received the clearance we were waiting for on the building. We’ll be returning to the GRU Historic Operations Center in Gainesville’s downtown Power District, just northeast of the new Depot Park.
We are currently looking for artists, crafters, and makers of all types who are interested in selling their creations at this year’s show. The application form can be found here, and applications are due by Oct. 23, 2016.
Know someone who you think should apply? Email them the link to this page, or invite them to the Facebook event. We appreciate your help in spreading the word. The more diversity we have among the vendors, the more selection we’ll have and the more fun it will be!

There’s a hint of fall in the air and that means it’s time to start accepting applications for this year’s GLAM Craft Show. The show will take place on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historic GRU Operations Warehouse in downtown Gainesville.
We’ve made a few changes in how we’re setting things up this year, so if you’re a repeat applicant, be sure to look over the application form carefully. The biggest change is that all booth spaces will now be outdoors. Booth vendors will have the option to bring their own pop-up tents, if they choose.
The good news for shoppers is that the new venue allows us more room, so we expect to have even more amazing vendors for you to choose from. And that’s a happy thing.
Potential vendors can apply here. Questions? Email Kim at glamcraftshow@gmail.com.
